The members of Station 34 in Collegeville will be hosting their 2nd annual “Hero Run 5k” this October. This community oriented event will help not only our local firefighters, but it is also aimed to honor our Heroes of the military, fire, ems and law enforcement services. Proceeds from this event will go to deserving members of those services as well. Various emergency vehicles from around the county will be on hand for families to see and speak with during the tribute. So far the Bomb squad and SWAT team will be there, as well as fire engines, ambulances, a military truck and even a medavac helicopter..
