Halloween Costume Party at CJ’s Doghouse
CJ’s Doghouse will be hosting a Costume Party the day after Halloween, so the trick-or-treaters can participate! Spring House Brewing out of Conestoga PA only seemed natural to be on tap. Ambler’s Halloween Extravaganza
Bring the kids in costume to The Ambler Theater at 10am on Saturday, October 25th to decorate pumpkins and participate in a costume contest where awards will be given out in 12 different categories! There will be a lot happening downtown for both the kids and adults so bring the whole family! Also, five time Happening List Winner Sweet Briar Cafe will be on hand to provide muchies for all in attendance.
At 11:30am, kids will be split into 2 groups which will then visit Ambler Main Street businesses to trick or treat. After trick or treating, spend the day in town!

*The Bridgeport Community Fund “Park and Rec” will also be sponsoring a Halloween parade on Sunday, Oct. 26th at 1pm. The parade will take place at the John Todd Memorial Park playground. At Noon, prior to the Halloween Festivities, there will be a re-dedication of the John Todd Memorial Playground marking the 10th Anniversary of his death while serving his country.

Halloween Parade in Collegeville
The Rotary Club of Collegeville is hosting their annual Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 29th on Main Street! All our residents are invited to come out for a great afternoon full of costumes, freaky floats, candy, community and more! Groups marching in the parade can gather at Vince Raffeo’s parking lot behind Benjamin Moore Paint, Diane’s Hair Studio & the BP gas station at 454 E. Main Street in Collegeville by 6:00pm. Judging will be taking place from 6:00pm – 6:20pm with the parade soon following at 6:30pm. Parade route will turn right out of the parking lot & finish in front of Philly Soft Pretzel Factory. The parade will conclude around 7:30pm.

Local families are encouraged to march in the parade! There is no admission fee and of course there will be be a costume contest with lots of prizes going to the winners in various age groups & floats. No formal registration is required for participation in the parade. All guests attending this year are being asked to park on adjacent streets as families will be assembling their floats and costumes in surrounding parking lots. West Norriton Halloween Parade and Party
The annual West Norriton Township Halloween Parade & Party is happening on October 25th, 10am at the Norristown Area High School Track. After seeing our local kids decked out in full costume for the parade, a party will be held directly after inside the gymnasium.

Ghost Tours at the Haunted Selma Mansion
Bring the family and kids out to learn the haunted history behind one of Montco’s most haunted houses, the Selma Mansion in Norristown! Visitors will be able to walk through the rooms, hear the stories and experience the darker side of Selma’s history first hand. Money raised by the Ghost Tour is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Norristown Preservation Society. Although it might be a little creepy, this event is designed to be family friendly!

Einstein Medical Montgomery’s Boo at the Zoo
Einstein Medical Montgomery’s Boo at the Zoo will take place this Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 3:00pm. Pool-O-Ween at the Plymouth Community Center
Frighteningly fun, Pool-O-Ween is an annual fall favorite held on Oct. 24th at 7:30 pm inside the greater Plymouth Community Center! The entire aquatics center will be transformed into an eerie water playground with music provided by DJ Light & Sound. The lights will be low, creepy creatures will be wandering the pool deck and glow necklaces for all the guests will be lighting the way. This event will end with a huge candy scramble, where bags of candy will be
thrown into the pool for your kids to gather up and take home!

Mad Science Halloween Party at Abington Free Library
The Abington Free Library Children’s Department invites young scientists ages 6-10 to a Mad Science Halloween Party on Tuesday, October 28th at 7 pm. During this free, 45-minute program presented by Mad Science of West New Jersey, children will watch a mad scientist melt a wicked witch, transform a paper spider into a “live” one, and use dry ice to make bubbling potions and fog. Children will also make their own batches of slime! All activities will be held in the library’s Community Room. Parents may sign up in the Children’s Department or call (215) 885-5180, ext. 28. All ages are invited to join this free Halloween event where kids will be searching downtown Narberth for 13 witches. They collect treats along the way of course, and then return to the start when they’ve found all 13 witches to collect a Halloween prize. The cobblestones that line Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill are screaming for a parade, especially with Halloween right around the corner! Well, thanks to Chestnut Hill children’s stores Villavillekula and Oxford Circus Toy, downtown Chestnut Hill will get that parade this weekend! A Mischief Masquerade at MaGerk’s Fort Washington
The fright is happening in Fort Washington on October 30th, and it’s all for a great cause! Along with raffles, prizes and the usual great food and drink specials, there will be live music from the Secret Service Band and local favorite DJ Darren. No costumes are necessary for this event, but you’re more than welcome to rock one in the spirit of Halloween! Haunted Woods & Boat Ride in Conshohocken
The Haunted Woods at Riverfront Park, Norristown, runs Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th, and the accent is on the word run! The trek through the darkened trees and rustling leaves is only the beginning. If participants survive the ghostly encounters in the woods, they then face a bewitching boat ride on the Schuylkill River. The weekend weirdness is hosted by the Norristown Business Association and the Norristown Dragon Boat Club.l
