Never Losing Hope…

Sometimes, a terrible tragedy can give life to an amazing display of HOPE. For Carolyn and David Fiore, that HOPE came in the form of each other. The owners of The Skippack Hope Chest have not only brought new life to one another, but to their recently opened shop in Montco’s most lovable town. Born and raised in Montgomery County, Carolyn Bean Fiore has always been a devoted supporter of the local community. Side by side with her husband David, the two live and support local not only by location, but in their every day lives as well.

In 2012, Carolyn was living in the Lehigh Valley when tragically, she lost her husband to a devistating accident while he was riding his bicycle. It seemed as though life as she knew it was over. But what Carolyn couldn’t yet understand was that the heart breaking end to one of her chapters, would eventually give life to a miraculous new one.

Soon after the accident, Carolyn moved back to Collegeville in search of support and comfort from her close family and friends. What she would find after months of sadness and mourning was a light in the darkness, a brand new start, and it came in the form of David Fiore. David and Carolyn were introduced by Rachael Shalaby (David Sister and also Carolyn’s good friend). David and Rachael ironically lost their father 6 days prior to the accident. involving Carolyn’s husband.

After such losses, Carolyn and David would have never thought in a million years that something like this could happen, something so magical and true. Together, with Carolyn’s two son’s Colton and Corey, which David adopted in December 2014, they bring HOPE back into each other and everyone’s daily lives.

This dynamic husband and wife team have come together to provide our residents the much deserved opportunity to look and feel their best at a price that won’t break the bank! The Skippack Hope Chest sells mostly new and some previously loved designer clothing, dresses, bridal wear, handbags, jewelry and accessories at affordable prices. Much like Carolyn’s own personal story, this newly opened boutique is giving a second chance to what otherwise might have been lost. The Skippack Hope Chest offers a Boutique full of fabulous designer finds for the everyday fashionista.

As only a passionate small business owner would do, Carolyn and David personally hand pick each and every item that is for sale in their store based on quality and condition. They both are very selective and particular about what come into the store. All items are current and seasonal.

Carolyn is proud to have an awesome team of Sales Associates (AKA friends); Kate Chellew, Faith Eagans and Karen Kelly. All of the women possess an acute a warm and welcoming atmosphere for their fabulous customers. Carolyn and her team have a deep understanding of what the women in our county are desperately searching for when it comes to high end fashion. The Skippack Hope Chest proudly sells upscale brands like Michael Kors, BCBG, Grace and Lace, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Coach and Tory Burch just to name a few! What makes all the difference is that these high end fashion products are always sold at an affordable price, helping make this an amazing bang for your buck destination. To add to its already successful start up, The Skippack Hope Chest was featured in Sisters U Woman to Woman Magazine where Carolyn was able to write her own column on style as well as serve on their prestigious Advisory Board. All of which was created out of love, loss and never ending HOPE.
