“Tunechi’s back, Tunechi’s back”. And I brought them twins with me… click and clack.” – Lil’ Wayne
So, are you a fan of Lil’ Wayne, aka Weezy F Baby, aka Wayne, aka Dr. Carter, aka TUNECHI? Well, “Tunechi’s back” with Carter IV. If it’s anything like the rest of his albums in Tha Carter series, then it’ll be an instant classic. My brother and I were listening to some of Wayne’s mixtape tracks, along with some of his older stuff, and this dude just keeps getting better and better. The only explanation I have is that he’s not lying when he says, “I’m not the same, I’m a martian”.
Lil’ Wayne’s Tha Carter IV was released online after Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. My buddy Tommy sent me a text yesterday telling me how dope the new album is. I haven’t downloaded it yet, but I listened to a few tracks on YouTube. It’s pretty good so far, though I don’t love a lot of the slow songs. His lyrics on every song are always ridiculous, but I wish there were more fast-paced tracks on there — maybe there are, but I just haven’t gotten that far yet.

Here are a few of my favorite Lil’ Wayne lyrics (that I can share here on this family-oriented website):
- “Don’t you compare me cause there ain’t nobody near me. They don’t see me, but they hear me. They don’t fear me, but they feel me.”
- “I tried to pay attention, but attention paid me.”
- “I got ice in my veins, blood in my eyes, hate in my heart, love in my mind.”
- “I can turn you from a human to a Carter. Take you off the bench, turn you to a starter.”
- “I am the only fire that can live in the rain.”
- “Where are you Wayne? I’m somewhere between joy and pain.”
- “They don’t make em like me no more. Matter fact they never made em like me before.”
- “I’m rare, like Mr. Clean with hair.”
- “Yes I am the best even bobble heads tell me yes.”
- “Arthritis in my hand from writing. But I’m a doctor they don’t understand my writing. So I stop writing. Now I’m like lighting. And you ain’t Vince Young so don’t clash with the Titans. Fast and exciting. My passion is frighting. Now let me put some more Vocab in your I.V.”
