April is here, and Easter fun and outdoor events have started! Here are our picks for fun things to do in Montgomery County from April 5 through April 7. Hippety Hop
When: Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m.

Visit the park to meet the adorable resident rabbits. Learn about wild rabbits as well as their domesticated relatives. Make a craft to take home. Preregistration is required; deadline for registration is April 3rd; weather permitting. All activities will be outdoors. For ages: 3-7; suggested donation is $4 per child
7th Annual Autism Family Fun Day
When: Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Spring Valley YMCA, 19 West Linfield-Trappe Road, Limerick
The A-Team of Spring-Ford is holding its 7th Annual Family Fun Day (all school districts are welcome to attend). The event is free to attend and open to the public. In addition to the free games and activities, there will also be food to purchase, a basket raffle and bake sale. Proceeds will benefit the Shooting Stars program for kids with special abilities held at the Spring Valley YMCA. This event will also offer a Resource Fair of more than 50 vendors for families with children on the autism spectrum.
Eco-Egg Hunt at Norristown Farm Park
When: Sunday April 7th at 2 p.m. (ages 3-5 years), and 2:15 p.m. (ages 6-8 years)

Enjoy a different kind of egg hunt. This educational allows children ages 6–8 to follow a series of ecological clues hidden in eggs in the woods and fields. A final treasure will be found at the end of the hunt. Younger children (ages 3–5) will simply hunt for eggs. Children ages 3-5 should bring a small basket for collecting.
Designed for children ages 3-8 with an adult. There is a $1 fee per child. Pre-registration by April 4th; meet at the pavilions.
Clover Market Chestnut Hill
When: Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 25 W. Highland Avenue, Philadelphia
This Sunday is the spring season opening event for the popular open-air vendor market. The event is family and dog friendly and admission is free. See the list of confirmed vendors and get more information here.
